Get to know Andrew Nigrelli, our new Website Support Specialist. 

What are you looking forward to the most about joining the team here at AYC?

I am looking forward to working in an environment where ideas are encouraged and pursued.

Describe a typical day for you in the office.

A typical day in the office begins with some coffee. After that, I'm usually checking e-mail, ZenDesk, and Trello.

What were you doing before you joined the team?

I was an an Associate Producer with Fox Sports. Before that I was a Broadcast Associate with NFL Network/NFL Films.

Have any interesting hobbies?

Most of my hobbies involve music or sports. I play drums, bass, and guitar. I love to go to concerts. I also play hockey and snowboard.

What’s your go-to music when you’re working?

It varies depending on the task I am working on. Some artists I listen to are Pretty Lights, Bonobo, Tycho, John Butler Trio, Lettuce, and Snarky Puppy.

Tell us something unique about yourself, a fun fact that we don't know.

I was the drum major of my high school marching band.

Want to share with us a project you have worked on in the past that you are most proud of?

I am most proud of working at 3 Super Bowls, including one where my Giants won. I worked at Super Bowls XLIV, XLV, and XLVI as a Production Assistant for NFL Network. My responsibilities varied each day. Some of the tasks I handled were driving on-air talent around town, cleaning the set after each show, and running errands for the production staff.

Have you seen any industry trends recently that inspired you?

I am a fan of clean and simple designs. A great example is Apple's website.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Be patient and persistent.
